    Copper center core was affected by a chemical.
    Erosion Damaged.. not a Mint Error :yack:

    Yup.. I just gave you the answer in post #3

    Chemical, probably an acid, eroded the copper edge between the Clad Layer.
    You can see the Obverse Clad Layer affected also.. yellowish hue to it
