Don't let those awful websites where the beat up coins are listed for huge prices. The corrupt people can list them for any price they want to and sit back and hope some dummy makes a offer on them. I saw some completely beat up coins I believe it was on a website called Etsy or something like that where they were priced for around 50,000 . It is horrible how many crooked thieves that are out there. I got lucky today and received a 1941 wheat back cent that had two nice clips on it and a nicked place for a third clip. This is the only clipped coin I have found in pocket change for a heck of a long time.
I buy this for a friend and it’s all neat can you check and let me know what in there please... thank you!
@Marites Foertsch If you really want to learn about error coins, check this site:http://www.error-ref.com/
@Marites Foertsch ...a good rule to use for coins you find is: “keep what you like”. You aren’t going to get rich collecting circulated coins unless you get very lucky. But you will find many coins that have great eye appeal and are in collectable condition. Keep searching and above all, enjoy the hunt and the learning...Spark
