1979 Susan B set, missing clad?

    I like this idea. The TPG’s have made themselves open to slabbing all manner of things. It’s certainly worth asking. I am like @Collecting Nut and think the provenance of remaining complete as a set would be positive to the value of this one.

    OK no. In the OP from that angle the clad missing looked like it was the valuable
    near date, wide rim. But these photos show it is regular.
    Doesn't matter, the missing clad is a BEAUTY.

    @HookFynn are you going to send it in!!??? Please!! If you do post it on the forum. Did you just buy the mint set or had it for awhile? I know it’s in the protective plastic but can you get a pic of the edge!! Would like to see it!

    i found it in a coin shop of all places. they had about 12 each of the 79 and 80 sets and i was just thumbing through them when i spotted the anomaly. i checked them all and purchased the one i posted.

    and yes, if they are willing to grade as a set i will. otherwise i'll keep as is.
