I don’t have much knowledge on error coins but have always had an interest. Having been a bad of error coins by a relitive, I’m hoping to learn more about what I now have in my possession, and what errors I Should be looking for. I’ll add coins and pics to this thread as i gain information, rather than starting a new thread unless otherwise advised to do so. First coin I’m interested in is a 1976 penny, no stamped letter where the mint was. I think on the head side, it’s offset. But my main point of interest is the opposite side of the Coin. The D on “UNITED” and the STA on states seem to not have been stamped properly not having the letters elevated, nearly not at all compared to the others. It’s placement doesn’t seem As though wear would have caused this due to the fact that the space is so tiny. Pics attached.
