I researched a bit, all I can find are the well known variteies such as wide rim, the type2 S&nbsp;&nbsp; etch. </p><p>So decided to run it by you guys and maybe get some insights.</p><p>I do have some thoughts on it, one probably was due to deterioration which caused the 2 letters to touch. Two, I need a better loupe. Three, don&#039;t have a third one yet.</p><p>I took some pics.</p><p>First is the 79-D with the regular AM. It was the same with the S and P mintmark. The images after that are of the 3 coins with the close AM.
