1979 D nickel no star, just a dot

    I think I have a nickle that is the same as in these pictures EDITEDI don't know if it's worth anything but was just curious I can take pics of it

    As for your coin, if you disagree with what has been posted above then, please, start a thread of your own and include FULL SIZE not thumbnail images of the whole coin and in focus close ups of the areas you would like us to comment on.

    Look at how close the letting is to the edge. Die deterioration damage, it also causes what looks like a DD, but really is not. Jim
