1979 D LMC is this pmd?

    I'm looking at the mintmark, the "In", the r in trust, designer initials, the C in Cent and a couple other oddities.

    There's not any variety of this coin minus just RPM. So I'm guessing PMD or die wear.

    Edited- also the R in America.

    I guess so.

    Looks good for 39 years in circulation though. Think of all the things hitting it and wearing it down over the years.
