1979 D Lincoln penny

    I believe I see doubling on the mint mark. Could I get some other opinions please?

    To me it seems like an RPM (Repunched Mint Mark), which is not uncommon for pennies during the 70's. I don't think it's going to be worth much. I also have a penny similar to this.

    There are RPM's which stand for Repunched Mint Marks.. But it has nothing to do with a Doubled Die Doubling

    If the mintmark in your image were any smaller, you could put it on a pinpoint.

    No I don't see any, doubled die, but like Chris had stated it would not apply to MM that would RPM, but with your picture I do not see that either. A better photo if possible is needed to confirm. At this point IMO, no
