It's my first DD isn't it beautiful with fake wood grain? Thanks again to my last commenters home in which I couldn't, well I could have but it would have taken a lot longer so much obliged.
MD. Your extreme close ups, especially the Y and the L show that metal has been "removed" from the original thickness of the letters making them look thinner in those places
Doubled YESS, MY FIRST DD!! Oh sorry for yelling. Yeah I noticed that when I switched from my hand held to my microscope but I cant take picture with my hand held and it really would have been hard to see knotching. Its the only one I have rn and thats as far out I can go with microscope. My microscope got me started in this my freinds would use it to look at their coins nd here we are.
I think you misunderstand what I wrote. The images clearly show worthless MD not a Doubled Die. Do some research on explanations and images of true Doubled Dies
I assure you this is it. I matched it with 3 different identifying marks from coppercoins.com this is the actual verity. Pretty cool huh? Isnt it beautiful?
Show the reference images and close ups of the same die markers on your coin. Not your over magnified efforts, clear in focus close-ups
This IS a DD. If you look at the first photo, he did manage to get both the notching at the bottom of the R, and the split of the U without distorting the details beyond comprehension. But I do agree, good photos go a long way.
I can get the rest if yall need but ill have to make my way to my room to photograph the other reference marks on my coin. Im disabled soo give me a lil bit and ill do that. I was trying to photograph the knotching which is dead give away.
