1977 S IKE DDR (I think?)

Discussion in 'Error Coins' started by William Reavely, Mar 19, 2023.

  1. I know the Ike's have many DD's, and not uncommon. I was trying to match a number (WDDR) but could not find a 1977 on Wexler or Variety Vista. Any ideas where I can look for match? Thank you. 77 PR EIS OBV.jpg 77 PR EIS REV.jpg 77 PR EIS A.jpg 77 PR EIS R.jpg

Proof coins are struck 'at least twice' according to the US Mint

I would be more confidence saying this doubling is due to the two strikes, rather than a doubled die.
