    Parking lot penny.

    Roadkill.

The only EXTREME error here would be believing that this is a mint error! ;)

    But welcome to CoinTalk!

Well.........it could be worth some money if you stood in the parking lot or roadway where it occurred long enough for a vehicle to hit you. Then you could sue!

It is always possible that collecting roadkill will be fun and profitable. A niche market for elite atypical numismatists. In that case I could see the value of that particular coin maybe rise a bit. It might even get an astronomical sum. I mean if n old grilled cheese sandwich could fetch 28 thousand dollars on ebay, this cent has at least a chance of value, however slight a chance.

Ah, but therein lies the rub, which parking lot? If it's the Mint parking lot it's a Mint error. :)

I have a 1977 but under date it looks like a circle not a P, D, or S. Could that be possible?

Coulf be a D Mint Mark with a Die Chip.. That would look like a small blob of a circle.

Could also be a Philadelphia coin with a punch mark.
