It appears that the FG was left off. I noticed a lot of my 1977’s had lite FGs, and I’m guessing it is because of die wear. As close as I can tell though, there isn’t a hint of the initials. What I initially thought might be remnants of the main line of the “F”, is actually a scratch that extends from the tail feathers to the leg. I tried to get photos from different light angles. What do the rest of you think? Is it an error coin?[/QUOTE]
