This is a 1977 half. I'm still learning about doubling and all the ways it presents. Is this a doubled die or just machine doubling? I have also included a "normal" one for comparison purposes.
I am looking at the lip and cheek/eye.
    Thanks for looking.

Looks like 'doubling' on the lower lip, but I'm inclined to say it's actually a result of die deterioration and excess problems with the die. I don't think it is a true doubled die, but it is interesting enough to keep for the time being to see where this leads.

Thanks for looking. I plan on keeping it to see what more people on here think. I can't find anything about it anywhere else (which could be my answer). But there is still a "chance" it is something special!!

Does anyone have an opinion on this coin?

I think it looks like doubling to me, just as in the 66 ones. Nice FIND!
