Hey everybody again I told you I'm going to be a pain today and over the next week so please forgive me ahead of time. I have 7 quarters from 1976 they all look fairly normal except for maybe the one with the strange mint mark which could be a p or a d. But you guys absolutely know better than I do so if you happen to see something please let me know thank you so very much for your time
ROFLMAO - thank you guys. But what about this P D D P piece of mint mark? Anything special about that? And it's probably raccoon - I have raccoons that visit me from the neighborhood that think I'm their dinner cart... I do my coin stuff outside in our patio area at night usually and I have caught them playing with some of the coins before - it's interesting watching them take one and run off with it to dip in the water pond we have for them - and they rub it around like it's treasure. I'll post something for you in a moment.
Ive had them in my attic before. Seems to me possums are the biggest problem around here. I trap them take them to another neighborhood. That way they can live & irritate somebody else.
Seriously? If you can't teach the raccoons how to properly handle coins, then you must take away their privileges. Leaving coins on your patio in the cool, night air is not a good idea either. I've never seen P on a Bicentennial Quarter. Chris
