This 1976 Dime has a weight of 2.36 grams. It felt a little different when I picked it up so I weighed it. It doesn't seem to be a thicker planchet compared to other dimes. Any ideas? I'm sure it's nothing but the heaviest I have come across. Also appears to have a die clash on the obverse.
Also, from the appearance of the reverse, it looked as though it may have been subjected to an acidic solution, which could have reduced the weight a little.
