1976 Lincoln Cent DDO

I see it mostly in the motto, a little less on The date, and not much on Liberty. I think you may have found the DDO-002. Cool find, but unfortunately only worth in the $8-$12 range.

I have a question Wheatmaster, the one on coppercoins site is brown, so would a red one be worth more ?

 

Going off of what I know about Lincoln cents, I think this is the case with any cents, even non- errors. So, I would say that yes, your cent would be worth more.

There's strike-doubling mixed in but some of the letters do look doubled.

 

I have my doubts on this one.

 

Ya that does happen and the famous 69-S Lincoln Cent, is proof of that ..

 

That doesn't diminish it. It just means you have to look close.

 

I personnel think from 1975 to 1982 are the most lame years for Lincoln Cents, The reverses are lame on theses years . Theres some other years too in the 80s, that just don't measure up to the quality ...

Theres isn't any split serifs for this DDO, only thickness .
