1976 eisenhower dollar

I have a 1976 Eisenhower dollar bicentennial dollar type 2 with liberty bell on the reverse with thin lettering and has no mint mark and is clad.I believe it is a proof coin.Because it has no mint mark is this a coin that was minted in Philadelphia for circulation or a trial coin that were made at one time .Because Philadelphia has no mint mark and the S and D coins do how do i know what i have could it be one of the rare Ike coins or not.

Unfortunately that is not an error.

 

Just by looking at the bit of rim in your picture, I'm confident that it isn't a proof coin.

Looks like a 'D' mintmark. Proofs were only minted in San Francisco.

 

Just a Philly business strike coin made for circulation.

 

No mintmark appeared on Bicentennial Halves in 1976 so yours was minted in Philadelphia. It's not a proof. It's a business strike intended for circulation.
