Hi guys, I have this 1976 D Roosevelt dime and would like to know why there is no rim partially on left side of the obverse of this dime and the rim in this area is a bit tapered? The rim on the reverse left and right side is flat. Is this due to a off center strike or broadstrike? Thanks very much.
Not a broadstruck but it is a MAD or misaligned die strike. Common but yours is slightly on the extreme side. Not worth any extra but a nice example.
