It's a Circulated Bicentennial Quarter. The Obverse has slight circular scratches that resulted from a Coin Wrapper Crimping Machine. Damaged.

I keep these just for fun, they're not worth much. A bit above face value if in AU condition or better.

The U.S. Mint didn't make any 1975 quarter and they came up with this 1976 Bicentennial coin to celebrate 100 years. Great history behind this coin.

The Mint didn't come up with the idea for the Bicentennial coins. They fought against the idea.

Just checked my inventory and I have 5 mostly very fine and one almost uncirculated. I have them in Air-tite container so that I will never touch them again.
