1976 D penny 2.1 g. Gold looking?

    What does the reverse look like?

    I was going to guess "heavy corrosion", but the obverse doesn't look the way I'd expect. If I just saw these pictures, I'd wonder whether the reverse was ground down flat.
     
  6. I'm noticing that your scale is under "dwt" not "g". The conversion factor would be 3.26586506 grams.

    Good catch. That's well within tolerance for a dirty copper cent.

    I have the same coin 3.1 grams on my scale and not corroded. Is in real good condition.

    Did you find out anything on your coin as I have one as well and is in good condition. Not corroded what so ever. Please let me know. Thx..
