1976-D Kennedy Half - Date?

    Looking through some half dollars and found a Bicentennial half dollar with a very "blobby" date when compared to the other bicentennials I have. What say you?

    Unfortunately, the first three images are the lowest magnification I have on my scope. Light is from 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock and overhead...

    Agreed with @paddyman98 . Your 6th photo shows some die polishing which is indicative of trying to save the die due to wear.

    Worn die is all I see. They used the heck out of those dies.
