This time I built a Federal Reserve District set of First Day of Issue 1976 $2 Federal Reserve Notes with the Chemistry Stamp, Scott Number 1685.

Wow, that is the most intense set of 2.00 stamp cancel sets I have ever seen.......... Congrats on a huge set..~~

I have a couple of those stamped $2.00 -- never realized there was such a variety in the stamps. Well done putting that collection together! I'm going to go take a second look at what I've got (you've inspired me now!)

This is probably getting boring by now, but I built another set...

 

Just how many sets can you actually build with these? Is this based on stamp issues or something else?

I've seen people selling a full district set of 1976 $2 FRN First Day of Issue with a stamp, but I've never seen a full district set with the same stamp.

The number of sets to build is limited to one's imagination. I'm working on sets of all Federal Reserve Districts with other stamps postmarked on the first day of issue. I've thought about collecting a set of first day of issue notes postmarked in the same city as the Federal Reserve District.

You misunderstood me. I've observed 70 different stamps on the 1976 $2 FRN First Day of Issue note. I don't have 70 sets.
