Hi all!

On 2/12/11 the lostduchman posted on his find of a nickle he came across with a struck fragiment. Some of you responded indicating it was "bonded pieces","struck through copper fragiment" etc. Anywhooo, tonight I was looking though some pennies I'd set aside from roll searching yesterday with my 10X mag. and I came across this 1975D. On the reverse north I noticed a piece of the die to be flipped up from the rest of the coin right over the OF in United States of America. I was like WOW!. I saw that what was flipped up was half of the O and most of the F. (Instantly I remembered lostduchman's posting). On this 1975D there was only a thread like portion of the die that was held by the rim/fold of the coin. I did not touch it further for fear that it make come off the coin as it looked so delicate. I ran for my camera to quickly take a picture. BUT GOSH BUM!...as I was setting it to take a picture the fragment came off the coin! rrrr....well, I took pictures anyway to all of you so to get your opinion of it. Boy it looked pretty neat as it stuck up the way it did before it fell off. As you can see the OF is still visible on the coin even after the piece came off. Click on the pics to get larger picture/zoom. Please forgive the quality, my picture taking isnt perfected yet, trying to figure the lighting thing. Your thoughts and opinions are much appreciated.
