    It's a novelty item. Too many web sites to list but small companies make their living by creating coins similar to yours. :) I think they are fun to collect.

    Do you have any names of companies who counterstamp coins. Think it would be interesting to check them out.

    Just search the Internet under the following:
    Counterstamped Coins
    Elongates or Rolled Pennies
    Novelty Coins

    You'll get sales and great information on them. There will even be links to posts fro CT available. I have purchased from too many companies over the years and while I have them, I really don't buy any longer. I'm focusing on other coins and investments at the current time. Best wishes.

    I just found the same thing. I had it in a box and have had it for years. Same dates and everything and it looks gold plated.
