    The correct Numismatic terminology is actually Doubled die.. not double die.
    Big difference.

    What's so interesting about it? Planchet shook when it was struck, collar couldn't hold it steady, result, bad strike. Were this anything else, it would be a defective product, you'd be entitled to your money back. :)
