Need some advice on this 1974 quarter. I have sesrched for die crack errors and nit finding much. Some people are advertising no mint mark rare coin. The no mint means minted in Philadelphia if i read it right?. I have no doubt its a crack . how rare. And valuable im lost. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you
Me too! I might also add that die cracks are so common that they aren't categorized and are only worth what someone is willing to pay for them. Personally, I wouldn't pay extra for a die crack.
If you are referring to the line from his eye going into the hair that's a scratch, not a die crack. A die crack will be raised and not in a straight line.
I'm with @paddyman98 on this one , again. Is the crack on The reverse or Obverse , That is the question it is ....
