1974 Penny dc in 9 on the date,this is the first I have seen in this year on the 9.

Very common as this happens all the time . Good eye though .

 

Stick it in a 2x2 then label the holder.. if you put it off to the side it might get mixed with the other Cents and you have to look for it again.. happens to me numerous times

 

Thanks,sound advice.I have collected for more than 40 years and not until I was almost killed by a drunk driver a few years back that I delved into them to categorize and label them.I have numerous rolls,some new old stock bank wrapped some customer wrapped,that I have not opened and a lot of singles.The search continues.
