1974 D lincoln penny

    Found this beautiful 1997 D today. It's in excellent condition but not sure if this is a true die error or not. Maybe you all can help me? The missing die is smooth so it doesn't appear like damage or basic wear and tear. Let me know what you think? Thanks.

    Your title states 1974. Your cent is 1974.
    So.. Did you post the correct Cent?

    The issue on the reverse is normal. Worn Die strike with added circulation wear and tear.
