I’ve been collecting the same one cent coin series exclusively for 48 years. If I can say one thing is that you have to get creative putting new types of sets together. That being said keep ANYTHING YOU like and make a set of like coins. Whatever, diagonal gouges, pock marks, stains. Here’s a good stained coin I call “Stick um up Abe” who wouldn’t keep that? Maybe an old stuffy Silver stacker! Lol. Reed
Well, I don’t know if their mechanically doubled or not. But I just found a 2017 D and it 2017 P with Doubling on the adverse and reverse of each! score one for the newbie who looks too hard !!! In the past two weeks, I’ve also found two minor clashed dies a 1968 8/8 and one of them little wagon wheel things I guess used to be in a necklace. Oh, and what appears to be really cool dryer coin. This is definitely more fun and lucrative than scratch off tickets. Although I don’t think I’ll ever be able to pronounce the name of what the heck we do here
I don’t know man it seems to be way more sets and I can keep track of so far I’ve even got five pennies that were flattened with names on them. Pretty cool though one of them you can still see the head and the date on it I found a little trick I’ll spread around to y’all...Throw these guys at the car wash a couple of beers once in a while and theyll give you bags full of pennies they get out of the vacuum cleaners
