1973 Lincoln-Libert"V"

    Hope this photo will suffice. At first I thought PMD but if you can see what I am, there is no evidence of a hit to the Y in Liberty and the T is also too narrow. The Y is actually sort of blob shaped. img245.jpg What could have caused this anomaly?

    Your coin is damaged. There is evidence of damage all over the photo including the "Y".

    PS It is also dirty with green corrosion spots.

    Oh yeah, I know it's damaged all over and nothing special in general. I just could not see anything in the immediate area that might have caused this.

    That's because all the things that damaged your coin in the first place are not around any more (unless you did it).:)

    Looks really beat up. Hey! 5 or 10 minutes ago I found a 1956 Wheat penny on our counter! It's kinda beat up but I don't care!
