1973 Lincoln cent

    I got this 1973 Lincoln cent and I'm pretty sure it's an error coin the y in liberty is a V can I get some feed back thank you

    I'm being partly facetious. The coin looks like his company/website name. Some people would be interested in that type of thing. I don't know how you would contact him.

    The Y took a hit and moved it to look like a V so it's actually damaged. That guy is a huckster. If he had it he'd probably pass it off as a Mint error. Please, don't even try to get in touch with him.

    Like collecting nut said I also think it may have taken a hit. But that a closer and clear pic of the “y”

    PS. Copper is soft and it really doesn't take much of a hit to move it around. It's amazing what can happen on Cents when the copper is moved.
