Hey guys i came across this 73 d lincoln. Thought it was damage but after looking closer idk. Looks odd. What do you all think. Also have a 77 quarter. I will post both. Thanks
Despite the fact that the images of the Lincoln cent are pixelated from the digital enlargements, it is still easy to see that it is post-mint damage. Chris
And the 1982 D Lincoln Cent is the Large Date variety. What you want to find is the 82 D Small Date copper cent.
Thanks for the info. I just got 3 more 82 d pennys in change today from the same store. Thats odd. 2 are wide am the 3rd is close am. I would think one is small date cause they look different but im no expert like you all. I just keep getting odd change. Couple days ago recieved a 1943 silver qaurter and a 1929 qaurter. Same place. Just weird. Not sure how good pics are? Almost forgot yep same store a 1959 d penny looks like a error on liberty. y
All 1982 cents are wide AM, close AM dies didn't come into being until 1992. All of your 1982's are large date. I am not seeing any error on the 1959, can you be more specific on what you feel is an error?
82's are large date. When you mention "errors" you'll want to elaborate as we're not good at reading minds. And be as specific as possible.
Sorry pics posted multiple times. Now i gotta figure out how to delete. One more quesion and no i wont take more pics. Lol. Wide am vrs close on the 82. Looks like 2 of them have close 1 wide.
Thanks 1 more coin to show you. Now if this isnt a error or ?. Thinking my coin days may be over. Person could loose there mind looking at coins constantly. That L just looks over to far. Didnt see any other errors for this coin online. Thanks for looking.
The coin is damaged and worth face value. It takes a long time to learn so stick with it. It's the only way.
