1972p DDO

    Found in a roll this afternoon. Just thought I'd share... I believe it listed as Wexler's WDDO-006, and Variety Vista as DDO-006 1972crop.jpg 1972GodWe.jpg 1972ddofullobv.jpg 1972fullrev.jpg

    Closest to VV 006 but not a match IMO. The tail of the "S" in trust is distinctly separated from the first impression. Can't find same in 003 either, so ???

    @dollar, is this a die gouge (raised) or just debris on the surface of the coin?
    If has its a raised device this is would be a-003. A 006 and a 003 are hard to differentiate on a circulated coin (wear, hits, etc...) JMHO

    It is raised, but I don't believe it's a die gouge. Under the loupe it appears to have taken a hit that caused it to be raised...
