1972D cent two die cracks to Lincoln's head, question on reverse

    I found this in a roll today. Also, could the lack of detail on the top of the memorial building be grease filled or just PMD? 1972dfullobv.jpg 1972dfullrev.jpg

    When you see Die Cracks think worn die.
    Lack of detail would be caused by a worn die with debris build up. Thus a Struck Through debris issue.

    The anomaly going thru the W is a die crack. The anomaly to the right of the W looks like the start of some type of lamination crack.

    Looks like die cracks so close together that a lamination issue is forming. Nice find.
