1972-S Ike to Grade

There appear to be two scratches on the obverse, one at the corner of his mouth and the other in the field above and to the left of his eye. Unless these are on the slab, I'm saying 66.

Nailed it. I just knew in ANACS it would be grade a step above a 66 for this coin.

So JELLO is this a recent pick up?

Not new.

I just got all may Ike out to ck for toning. Anacs new holder will tone if you store them right.
I just got a pair 1978-P&D graded they to grade MS-67 ,but they have not got back yet.

No way, I nailed it! I said 66, assuming NGC or PCGS. I stick by it!
I always forget to throw in the +1 if it's ANACS.

 

Someones got to nail it first. Setting the stage for future guesses. :yes:

 

What sort of storage conditions are causing the coins in new ANACS holders to tone?

Do the clad vs 40% silver Ikes tone any more/less significantly or quicker/slower in these holders?
