He hasnt much interest (except the silver quarters he kept for himself lol) and gave me the rest. Ive been slowly getting through them when time and motivation permits. Its been alot of fun when I can look thats for sure.</p><p><br /></p><p>There were a couple old bottles in the box with some separated 70s pennies. One of them had like this cheap shrink wrap kind of stuff holding some 1972 S and another one with 74s and a few others.</p><p><br /></p><p>I opened the 1972 pack and its cool because they all look pretty good. I have zero ability to even begin to estimate a grade but one particular penny jumped out when I laid them out. It was a solitary 74S in the bunch. It looks oddly flawless. I took a few pictures. Could this be a proof or just an uncirculated or good condition coin?? To me its a mystery trying to figure out why this one was in with the others. Why did my old crazy Grandmother put this one there???
