    Welcome to Coin Talk. Not an error, just a nickel with post mint damage. Looks like it might have been on a sidewalk somewhere and was stepped upon.

    The nickel is damaged, with a possible heavy die polishing. It's still worth a nickel.

    Welcome to CT. It would be helpful in the future if you posted your question, telling us what you think you see that leads you to believe it is an error, with clear full obverse and reverse photos and then close up of any areas you question.
    What you have is a beat up Jefferson with a broken nose.

    Yeah, but look all over the nickel and you will see similar damage all over it. Just because it's on the nose doesn't make it an error (look at the cheek). It's all over the place. There's an "L" on the bottom left and a ">" on the bottom right and others all over the place. That is of course me related a damage shape to a known character. Damage is unlimited and this coin has a bunch of damage.
    Notice how a lot of the damage is not straight .. damage can be any shape.
