image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Hello to all again....yes I'm still searching and I am enjoying every minute of it :)
I've come across an interesting 1972 S Lincoln Cent....it looks like the S is stamped over a D possibly another S?? Any thoughts?

    Thanks in advance!

    I see nada.

On the MM, most likely a die crack

The late 60's and the 70's have multiple problems with mm. Many were MDD, and/or damaged. Photographs are hard to tell , but I don't see any RPM or OMM.

here is a 1969 S with more than one MD. If you can't see if they are flattened or sheared, it is hard to tell. And there is damage in the loops of the punch which adds to confusion.

Yes. We need a sharper picture of the S.

A 1972 penny and it looks like under my microscope that the s mint mark has been relaunched over a d mint mark.

How much would you think it is worth?

Did you try the links provided in the previous posts?
RPM issues are not worth that much. No huge premium.. Not like hundreds or thousands. They sell for like $2.00 or $3.00
