I've been sorting through about 1500 pennies looking to fill my folders and keep anything unusual. I came across this 1972 penny with a misaligned hammer die. I know it's not worth anything but thought it was neat as it's the furthest off center I've come across so far. Just thought I'd share

Misaligned and Off Center are separate issues. But I know what you meant.

Ya I actually learned that today. Misalignment typically only affects one side of the coin where either the anvil die or hammer die are not aligned perfectly. Where off center is when the planchet didn't "sit" properly and the coin is struck off center.

At least think I got that right
