1972 ike double die

    Found this 1972 Eisenhower dollar and was wondering if it was worth anything. I know there were 3 varieties minted that year but not sure which one this is. The appears to have doubling but i am not sure. New to coin collecting so any feedback would be very much appreciated. Thanks

    I think I see a little bit of MD - Mechanical Doubling. Considered worthless doubling.

    Type 3. Beware of the age of printed references. There used to be only two types recognized once upon a time, and in that era, this would have been considered a Type 1. It's a certain 3 now.
