I would really discourage anyone from calling a '72 with MD a poor man's [anything] - it is just a coin with machine doubling that has no additional premium.

Well whatever it is ill still hang on to it. i might start a DOUBLED DIE,mechanical doubling,plateshift doubling and all the other doublings collection and study the difference between them all.Thanks guys for some GREAT information.........................
before i leave this forum i would atleast like to have the "EXPERTS" explain to me the difference in MD,DD..so i a newbie at coin collecting can eventually know what to look for.... THANKS,
