NOPE! I wish a lot of new posters would look up on google for pics of certain rare double dies and compare it. We see so many posts "I have a 69s double die, etc."
I wish OP would do this instead of posting coin after coin after coin hoping for something that isn't there.
Correct and it certainly isn't DDO 003. I I see a bit of the Master Hub Doubling that is common on 72s. But that's it.
Even at this hour, with my tired eyes, I see no sign of doubling. FS-103 looks like this: A normal DDO on a 1972 looks like this: Sorry but your coin is not a DDO of any type. The doubling is quite pronounced. Less than 1000 of the DDO 3 are known and that's after 46 years.
Less than 1000? May I ask where you got that number? I’ve pulled ~10 in my CRH. Next to 007, it is the most common 72 DDO I think.
I'm have to get better pics I'm trying but you can see it on u in trust easy but can't get clear picture I will try
My mistake. I miss read the article. FS-103 is the most common doubling found on the 1972 DDO. In MS-66 less than a thousand are known. @furryfrog02 Thank you for asking. My apologies.
If only the U in trust has doubling then it's MD. The entire motto "In God We Trust", "Liberty" and "1972" are all clearly doubled. You won't need a magnifying glass to see it. I think there are 8 different versions of documented doubling on the 1972 cent. Sorry but yours isn't one of them.
