1972 D Ike / Eisenhower dollar coin Error?

    Hello All,
    Just found this Ike coin, was wondering it might be a Error coin? I don't see any file marks on the error spot.? I have a close up picture I can show on my next post...
    What's your opinion? Any information on the coin would be appreciated!!!

    T2s are only on 72Ps. OP's coin is a 72D.

    You can see a bit of Blakesely Effect opposite the clip.
    If OP could post a picture of the reverse, that would be nice too.

    looks like a type 1, atleast we both learned more about them.

    that might be a die crack. on the reverse. or not, think its the water, or something else.
