1972 d error penny

  1. I think the ear on this penny is out of shap or too long , if you guys could pls tell me if it is or if it was a misprint and the steps on the reverse look miss shapped too, is it worth keeping or just spend it ?     I like how the 72-D changes into an 82 large date.
    There's a lot of value in a magic Lincoln cent.

    Nothing wrong with the first one. It's obviously Abraham Vulcan.

    Hello,I am just getting started collecting.but I found this 1972 d and it seems to have part o the reverse image on the observe side kind of looks like the steps and part of the columns.anybody tell me what kind of error that might be?thank you for any help.

    That would be a die clash error. Sometimes the dies come together and there isn't a planchet in between and they smash together leave impressions on one another.
