It doesn&#039;t take away from it. None of the motto in this case is any smaller for the doubling. All the doubling takes place to the left of the letters in the motto.</p><p><br /></p><p>Also notice how there isn&#039;t any &quot;shelf&quot; or &quot;flat shelf-like&quot; area in the doubling. It is its own independent design element...for lack of a better term.</p><p><br /></p><p>Hopefully this helps you all. If I made things more confusing I apologize!
