1972-D cent?

    I found this while roll hunting. Is it a 1972-D cent with the "D" being on an angle? S20181022_0009.jpg

    I don't think it's a Mint Mark.. Looks like a Philadelphia Mint Cent with some weird Die Chip or even a hit that raised the copper just a bit.

    Sorry, I've been working the night shifts. Didn't realize I had typed 1972 instead of 1979. It's a very strange mark, probably just coincidental that it looks similar to a mint mark.
