So Doug even though your pictures are getting better we can't tell if there is doubling. If you go to the site cpm9ball listed like I just did you can look up the 1972 d cent and this is one of a bunch of pics that come up. So because you will either need to take better pics or because you have it in hand you need to look at the pictures on the site and they ALL have to match the diagnostics for the particular doubling variety for it to be the one. This is just one pic of many and there is no way you have clear enough close ups to be able to see the line in the bottom of the E as an example.
