    Ive been looking around and coming up with different awnsers, It sounds like silver what is the percentage ? Any help would be much appreciated Thanks

    Mexican? 5 for a dollar at the coin show. It's not silver. It's made of copper/nickel.

    The last issue of silver Mexican one pesos was between 1957/1967 (km459) and they were only 10% silver.

    As the others have said, 0% silver. It's 9.07g of Copper-Nickel. 1971 was the largest production run for the series (426,222,000).
