That is a proof. Specially made at the mint for collectors, and not intended for circulation, as a business strike coin would be. It's worth about a buck. So not supremely valuable, but pretty. Be careful how you handle it, as proofs have delicate surfaces and you don't want to leave any faint scratches on those mirrored fields. Get a flip or coin holder to put it in. Handle it only by the edges.
