So I went to open my Canadian coins. And this is what I opened. I found these mint sets, that I had totally forgot about. Inside was a 1971 proof Mint set in cellophane. I can't find any information on this type of proof set. It does have a 1971 proof Lincoln cent with an no s Then next to that is a another 1971, with s. Lincoln cent. Note the 1971 no s Jefferson nickel Has 6 full steps .min 5 lol

That's a mint set, which are uncirculated coins. Proof sets in 1971 came in a hard plastic lens.

I also say Uncirculated Mint Set. Blue borders were Philly and Red borders were Denver. It’s hard to tell without a close-up but that second LMC may be a San Francisco strike included in the Philly Set.

But they are not proof…. imo…Spark

Just to add that the Proof set, No S dime is the one you are after.
